- Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2025, the third of its kind, was launched in Hanoi on Friday to seek innovativesolutions from organizations and individuals around the world to address important national challenges and create a prosperous and sustainable Vietnam.

Vietnam Innovation Challenges 2025 is launched in Hanoi on March 14, 2025.

The national project is jointly implemented by Meta Corporation, the National Innovation Center , and the AI for Vietnam Foundation.

Vo Xuan Hoai, NIC Deputy Director

“Currently, the rate of application of Vietnamese datasets for AI development remains quite low. Therefore, this will be the foundation for Vietnam to catch up with other countries in technology development in the future. Once Vietnam has such kind of Vietnamese dataset, it’ll serve not only businesses, but also Vietnamese government agencies in their daily work,” said Hoai.

Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2025:

- The AI for Vietnam Foundation is the implementation partner

- Meta provides technical and financial support

- The NIC is the coordinating and supervising unit, ensuring the strategic alignment of the project with Vietnam's national goals

Other participating partners include NVIDIA, Viettel, and the Institute of Information Technology at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

VIC 2023-2024 recorded 16.5 million views and interactions and attracted 1,500 solutions, 80 experts, and 79 partner companions.
